Watches stolen from Scottsdale store

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police said a man stole several watches from a store inside Scottsdale Fashion Square Friday evening.

Scottsdale police said the suspect entered Tourneau at about 6:15 p.m. and asked to see multiple watches. After viewing them, he displayed a handgun and demanded several.

He left with an undisclosed number of watches and fled the mall in a gray Hyundai Accent-type vehicle with California plates. Police released a photo of the car taken inside a parking garage.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 35 years old, 6 feet 3 inches tall, 180 pounds, with short dreadlock-style hair. He was wearing a yellow button-up long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans at the time of the armed robbery.

No one was injured in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Scottsdale police.
