CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Women exercising along a popular Chandler canal have been getting an unexpected eyeful of a Valley man.

Police say a serial flasher has been exposing himself to women biking or jogging near Dobson and Elliot roads.

The man has reportedly flashed ten women since April, with the most recent incident taking place on Friday morning.

“It’s scary, really scary,” said Linda Tomlinson, who rides her bike along the canal.

The suspect, who is naked or nearly naked, will clap to get the women’s attention and then run off when they look his way.

The man keeps a good distance between himself and the victims, so no one has been able to get a very good look at him.

He’s described as a white male between 30 and 60 years old. He’s approximately 6 feet tall, balding or bald, with a pot belly.

Police ask anyone who sees the man to call police. They are also encouraging women to bring a companion and a cell phone when they go down the canal.
