CASA GRANDE, Ariz. -- Residents at a Casa Grande apartment complex had to be evacuated Friday afternoon after five buildings caught on fire at a construction site.

Firefighters responded just after 3 p.m. to a site directly behind the Tierra Pointe Apartments at 700 North Rodeo Road.

Officials evacuated the building closest to the blaze, and partially evacuated two other buildings.

The five buildings that caught on fire were going to be part of the apartment complex. Only one of the buildings that were burned remains erect.

No injuries have been reported. Officials are still trying to determine what started the fire, but they believe it was construction related.
