PHOENIX -- Phoenix Police have arrested a Valley man for allegedly playing a part in the molestation of a child in Pennsylvania.
Randy Keith Ferguson, 60, was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Detectives with the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force were conducting an investigation when they discovered that a 67-year-old man in Pennsylvania was molesting a young family member and sharing the images electronically with Ferguson.
Police said it appears as if Ferguson was directing the man at some point during the molestations.
On Wednesday, police served a search warrant at Ferguson’s home at 1300 E. Mitchell Drive to obtain evidence.
According to police, Ferguson has since admitted to his involvement in the crime.
Detectives have also worked with authorities in Pennsylvania to arrest the 67-year-old suspect.
Authorities continue to investigate the case and ask anyone with any information to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-534-3200 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
