GILBERT, Ariz. -- Gilbert police are asking for the public's help to identify a robbery suspect.

Police said a woman robbed the Safeway grocery store at Val Vista Drive and Elliot Road at approximately 3 p.m. on Sept. 7.

The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 27 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall, with blond hair, wearing a baby blue short-sleeved T-shirt and large sunglasses. Her left arm had a sleeve tattoo.

Police have released two surveillance photos of the suspect.
