SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police arrested two Surprise residents suspected in a vehicle burglary at a Scottsdale park.

A woman's purse was stolen from her unlocked car while she was at Horizon Park near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Thompson Peak Parkway on Sept. 9.

Police said the victim's credit cards were used at multiple convenience stores in Scottsdale on the same day.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Scottsdale police officers near Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Pima Road saw Jennifer Hamlin, 24, and Aaron Epworth, 43, sitting in a car that matched the suspect vehicle.

Police questioned the pair and said Hamlin made statements incriminating herself.

Both suspects were booked on charges of burglary and credit card fraud.

Investigators are looking at the possibility that the two are involved in other criminal activity.
