PHOENIX (AP) -- A not guilty plea was entered for a Phoenix elementary school teacher accused of molesting a student and luring a minor online.
The attorney for John Frank Todorich waived his client's appearance Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court.
The 55-year-old Todorich was arrested last Friday. His next scheduled court appearance is on Oct. 31.
Authorities say Todorich allegedly fondled a male student in 2010 while he was teaching physical education at Arroyo Elementary School.
He's also accused of creating a fake Facebook profile of a 16-year-old boy living in Phoenix and allegedly using it solicit sex acts from a boy under age 15 in May 2011.
The mother of that boy discovered the online chat messages recently and called police. Todorich now is on leave from Arroyo Elementary.
