PHOENIX -- A Paradise Valley High School teacher accused of having sex with a female student has pleaded not guilty to sexual conduct with a minor.

Jordan Doneskey, 26, entered his plea Monday in Maricopa County Superior Court.

The mother of the 17-year-old student was arrested on charges of child abuse and failure to report.

Police believe the woman knew about the relationship and allowed the alleged sexual conduct to take place at her home.

Court documents state that the victim's mother is a social worker with an extensive employment history in the field of child protection.

Police said the girl was a willing participant in the relationship with Doneskey.
