PHOENIX -- Police are asking for the public's help identifying two suspects who robbed a Phoenix business.

Police said two black males robbed the We Buy Gold near 47th Avenue and Indian School Road at about 3 p.m. on Aug. 30.

According to police spokesman Officer James Holmes, the 45-year-old female victim was inside the business with the doors locked when the suspects knocked on the door. One of the suspects was holding what appeared to be a watch.

The victim told police that she believed they had been in the store before so she unlocked the door.

The suspects entered, displayed a handgun and proceeded to rob the store. The suspects obtained cash from both the victim and the business, and took personal property belonging to her.

Holmes said it appears that the suspect had been in the store before.

"We do believe that they had an idea of exactly what they were looking for and where they were going to find it," he said.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

One suspect is described as 17 to 20 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a black hat with a red logo, light-colored T-shirt, baggie jeans and white shoes.

The other victim is described as 17 to 20 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 to 170 pounds, wearing a black hat, white shirt, black shorts with a red stripe, black-and-white shoes, and carrying a handgun.

Phoenix police were able to obtain video surveillance of the robbery and are asking the public's assistance in identifying the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
