GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The FBI's Bank Robbery Task Force and the Glendale Police Department need the public's help to find the man who held up a credit union Thursday.

Investigators say the suspect had a semi-automatic handgun when he robbed the Arizona State Credit Union on Union Hills Drive between 83rd Avenue and the Loop 101 Agua-Fria Freeway.

The task force has released surveillance photos

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches all. He weighs 160 to 170 pounds and has a medium build. In addition to a tan long-sleeve, button-down shirt, brown pants, a black cap worn backwards and black gloves, the suspect also wore a full flesh-color mask and a matted dirty blond wig.

According to investigators, the suspect walked into the credit union, approached the tellers and then showed them the gun as he demanded money.

Once he had the cash, he fled the scene on foot. Nobody saw a vehicle.

According to the time stamp on the surveillance photos, the suspect entered the credit union just before 9 a.m., and was gone a short time later.

Nobody was injured in the course of the robbery.
