COTTONWOOD, Ariz. -- Deputies with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a man who threw a beer at a moving vehicle.

A woman told deputies that she was driving in Cottonwood on Wednesday when the driver of a pickup truck threw a can of beer at her car as they passed each other in opposite directions.

The can hit the woman’s front left fender, spraying beer on the side of her car.

The woman turned around to try to locate the truck, but eventually lost sight of it.

The driver of the truck is described as a middle-aged, white male. His truck is said to be a white, 1990’s full-sized model with a cross bed tool box.

The woman was able to find the can of beer that hit her car and turned it over to deputies. Fingerprints have been taken from the can and submitted for identification.

Deputies said not only did the suspect damage the woman’s car, but he also endangered her life and possibly the lives of other motorists.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office at 928-771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
