PHOENIX -- Thursday was off to a mild but muggy start with Valley temperatures in the 80s, but humidity levels near 50 percent.

This afternoon, look for a slight chance of storms and a high temperature of about 101 degrees.

There is a better chance of storms in the high country today, and all the way through the weekend with afternoon highs forecast to be in the upper 70s and 80s.

Monsoon moisture continues to fuel afternoon and evening thunderstorms across the state, but it looks like storm chances will increase a bit from Saturday night through Monday.

Look for afternoon highs in the Valley near 102 degrees this weekend with a 40-percent chance of rain.  Overnight lows drop off to the mid 70s to low 80s.
