HEBER, Ariz. -- Authorities in Navajo County have arrested a man for allegedly growing marijuana inside his house.
Jerry Steel Jr., 32, was apprehended on Wednesday by the Navajo County Major Crimes Apprehension Team after detectives learned that he was growing pot at his home between Snowflake and Heber.
While conducting a search of Steel’s property, investigators reportedly found 43 marijuana plants with a total value of $43,000.
At the time of his arrest, Steel was on probation in Navajo County for pleading guilty to a possession of marijuana for sale charge back in January.
Steel is now facing charges of possession of marijuana, production of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He’s being held at the Navajo County Jail on $150,000 bond.
