Man accused of burning down his Greenehaven home

GREENEHAVEN, Ariz. -- A Greenehaven man is accused of burning down his home.

William Daniel Oldt Jr., 54, was arrested on arson, endangerment and criminal damage charges.

According to the Coconino County Sheriff's Office, Oldt went to the Greenehaven Fire Department on Sunday and told firefighters that his home was on fire.

When firefighters arrived at Oldt's mobile home on Glen Drive, they found the out building fully engulfed with the fire spreading to the main residence.

The home was determined to be a total loss.

A fence at an adjacent residence also was partially burned. 

The sheriff's office said based on inconsistent statements Oldt made to witnesses and physical evidence found at the scene, he was arrested. 

Two arson investigators from the Flagstaff Fire Department are continuing the investigation with sheriff's detectives and deputies.
