PHOENIX -- After a sunny and dry weekend in the Valley, monsoon storm chances return later tonight. Storms today should be limited to the high country of Northern and Eastern Arizona, with the potential for those storms to move into the Valley later this evening.
After tonight, drier air moves into the state and storm potential will be even more limited to the high country.
Tuesday and Wednesday will bring above-average afternoon temperatures near 108 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
A stronger flow of monsoon moisture returns late in the week for a slight chance for Valley rain over the Labor Day weekend.
Overnight lows are expected to stay in the mid 80s this week.
