VILLAGE OF OAK CREEK, Ariz. -- A Circle K in northern Arizona is in need of some major repairs after a woman accidentally drove her car through the front of the convenience store.

It happened on Wednesday evening at the Circle K on Highway 79 in the Village of Oak Creek, Ariz.

According to a spokesman for the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, a 73-year-old female driver, who lives in nearby Sedona, pulled into a space in front of the store. She was almost stopped when her foot slipped onto the accelerator pedal.

She drove over the concrete parking block, through the front window and to the right of the front doors.

No customers were near the window when she drove into the building. No one in the building was injured and the driver was also not injured.

The driver did not show any signs of impairment from either alcohol, drugs or a physical ailment.

Pictures from the scene show several shelves, fixtures, and dispensing machines were damaged.

The car drove directly through the window frame without hitting any structural supports. The driver was not cited.
