PHOENIX -- The extreme heat from earlier this month appears to be a thing of the past as we start the work week.
Temperatures on Sunday in the Valley peaked in the low 100s, and the high on Monday is expected to be around 105.
Temperatures will decrease as the week progresses, with the high on Wednesday reaching just 96.
Temperatures will increase a little later in the week, but should remain in the low 100s through next weekend.
There’s also a chance for rain in the Valley through Thursday.
