MESA, Ariz. -- Three men and a teenager are facing robbery charges following a confrontation at a Mesa residence.

According to Mesa Police, two females and the teenage suspect arrived at 728 W. Edgewood late Wednesday evening.

The females were expecting to leave when 19-year-old Kishawn Allen, 20-year-old Elijah Harper, 24-year-old Jeffrey Thomas, and the teen reportedly tried to force them to drink alcohol and perform sexual favors.

The suspects allegedly told the women that they wouldn’t take them anywhere unless they paid $10 for gas.

The females wound up calling two male friends for a ride, but the men were confronted by the suspects as soon as they arrived at the home.

One of the suspects reached into the vehicle and tried to take a wallet belonging to one of the men. When the man slapped the suspect’s hand away, a second suspect reportedly pulled out a shotgun and began making threats.

The armed suspect then took the man’s wallet and removed a debit card and $3.

Both of the men were struck in the head during the confrontation, but were able to leave the scene with their female friends.

The police were subsequently called, and officers found a shotgun, a pistol, and the man’s debit card inside the home.

Allen, Harper, Thomas, and the teen were all taken into custody.
