PHOENIX -- Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office have arrested a suspect in a homicide case.

Jesus Adame Raymundo, 41, is facing one count of second-degree murder, one count of tampering with evidence, and one count of disposing or concealment of a dead body.

The body of Francisco Mendez-Rangel was found in July near Interstate 17 and Table Mesa Road. Investigators said he had been shot to death.

Homicide detectives searched Raymundo's home in the 1500 block of Desert Cove and found evidence of a murder.

Detectives believe Raymundo and an accomplice shot the victim and later used a pickup truck to move the body to a remote location in the county.

Detectives are asking for your help in searching for a second suspect by the name of Esteban Cota Bacapiz and a red F-150 pickup truck believed to have been used in the crime.

The truck has an Arizona license plate "AWJ5157."

Raymundo and Mendez-Rangel were in the country illegally, according to the sheriff's department.
