Man wanted for robbing Mesa bank

MESA, Ariz. – Police in Mesa are searching for a man suspected of robbing a local bank.

On Monday, a man walked into a Wells Fargo at 1256 E. McKellips Road and approached a teller. The suspect reportedly handed the teller a note demanding money.

The teller complied with the man’s request and gave him an unspecified amount of cash. The man then fled the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 24 and 30. He’s approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.

The suspect was last seen with a shaved head and wearing a black t-shirt, dark jeans, and black tennis shoes with a white stripe on the sole.
