YUMA, Ariz. -- A Yuma High School teacher was arrested Tuesday for 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Michael A. Cox, 37, was booked into the Yuma County Adult Detention Facility.

Members of the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (AZ ICAC) from the Tucson Police Department, the Phoenix Police Department and Yuma detectives worked the case.

The AZ ICAC initiated an Internet investigation about a month ago.

Authorities served a search warrant at Cox's home on Tuesday and found pornographic images of children on his computer, according to the Yuma Police Department.

Detectives seized several electronic media devices.

Police said Cox admitted he was in possession of videos and pictures of young children being sexually abused.
