PHOENIX -- The Citizens Clean Elections Commission has launched a new online tool to help Arizona residents learn more about the upcoming primary election on August 28.

The website CleanElections101.com has introduced a new legislative district locator. Users simply need to enter their address on the locator webpage and press the “Find Your Candidates” button.

The legislative district will then appear with all of the candidates running for the Arizona Legislature and the Arizona Corporation Commission.

There will also be links to each candidate’s 200 word statement explaining why they’re running for office. If a debate was held in that district, a link to the debate will also appear.

“We know many voters are still not certain of their new legislative district because of the redistricting process following the 2010 census,” said Todd Lang, Clean Elections Executive Director. “Our new legislative district locator is designed to make it very easy for voters to learn about their new districts and the candidates running to represent them.”
