GILBERT, Ariz. -- A suspected graffiti artist was arrested on drug charges after he allegedly decided to get high in his car.

On Wednesday night, Gilbert Police noticed a suspicious vehicle parked near Burk Street and Washington Avenue.

An officer approached the vehicle and reportedly saw Zachary Osowoski, 23, smoking marijuana inside. The officer also found several spray paint cans, markers, and stencils in the car.

Osowoski reportedly indicated that he was involved in drawing graffiti across the city.

Osowoski was subsequently arrested for possession of marijuana. There is also an ongoing investigation into possible criminal damage to property/graffiti.
