Arizona gas prices drop for 17th consecutive weekPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- For the 17th straight week Arizona motorists have enjoyed decreasing prices at the gas pump.
On Thursday, Triple-A Arizona announced that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.27 per gallon, which is down more than a penny from last week.
Residents of Tucson are paying the least for gas, with an average price of $3.16. Flagstaff has the highest average price at $3.52.
The average price of gas for the nation is $3.53 per gallon, which is an increase of more than four cents from last week.
South Carolina has the lowest average gas price in the country at $3.23, while Connecticut’s $3.82 per gallon is the highest in the United States.
