ANTHEM, Ariz. -- Many Anthem residents are in clean-up mode after monsoon storm whipped through the area Tuesday, flooding several streets.

3TV's Javier Soto talked to one resident whose home flooded.

Anintita Bhattacherjee, who was home with her two young kids and her dog, said firefighters actually had to cut a hole in one of the outer walls to allow the water to drain.

"I just ... we were all panicked," she said. "I've never seen anything like that. I'd heard of flash floods before, but this is the first time I saw it."

Wednesday morning, there were still puddles in Bhattacherjee's kitchen.

"My backyard, my house -- it's all a mess," she said.
