FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Deputies with the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a man accused of robbing a convenience store.

Northern Arizona 911 Dispatchers received a call Thursday morning about an armed man robbing Woody’s Service Station and Convenience Store at 35 East Pine Wood Boulevard.

Deputies arrived on scene to learn that the suspect pulled out a handgun after walking into the store and demanded money from the cashier. He fled on foot after taking cash from the register and the wallets of two customers who were present.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was last seen near Interstate 17 wearing a baseball hat, hiking boots, a dark blue shirt and light colored jeans.

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 928-774-4523.
