PHOENIX -- Monsoon moisture is on the increase, and that means a better chance of storms in your weekend forecast.

Look for a partly sunny Friday with an afternoon high in the Valley around 108 degrees.  here is a slight chance of storms this evening, with a better chance of rain over the weekend.

A southeasterly flow in the atmosphere means an active couple of days across Arizona.  There is about a 60-percent chance of storms in the high country over the weekend, with about a 40-percent chance for the Valley to see rain and thunderstorms Saturday through Tuesday.

Afternoon highs will drop off a couple of degrees, and humidity will increase.  Overnight lows are forecast to drop to the 80s.
