GILBERT, Ariz. -- A Gilbert man was charged with ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after his spouse came across several inappropriate photos.
Jeremy Todd Baland’s wife contacted Gilbert Police last Sunday after finding a three-ring binder that belonged to her husband in their attic. The binder contained several photos that allegedly depicted the sexual exploitation of minors.
An investigator examined the photos and determined that they featured children under the age of 18 engaging in pornographic acts.
Baland, 31, subsequently spoke with authorities and admitted to having a diaper fetish and porn addiction.
Baland reportedly went on to reveal that when he was 15-years-old a 55-year-old man had told him where to find child pornography, and that he had downloaded and printed the photos that were inside the binder.
Baland said he had been in possession of the binder since he was 15, and that he kept the photos in the binder because they reminded him of his youth.
He also admitted that he had child pornography on his home computer, but that he had deleted most of the images.
