PHOENIX -- Silent Witness is offering a reward to help identify a suspect in an armed robbery at a Phoenix Subway restaurant.

Three employees and eight customers were inside the eatery near Northern and 35th avenues when a suspect armed with a handgun entered around 7 p.m. on June 18.

Police said the suspect had a Safeway plastic bag in his left hand and a dark bandanna covered the lower portion of his face.

The suspect threatened customers and employees with the gun and demanded money from the employees. The money was put in the grocery bag and the suspect fled the store in an unknown direction.

No vehicle was seen.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 24 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a large tattoo on his right forearm. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black shoes, and black-and-white sneakers at the time of the robbery.
