PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- Authorities said a Prescott man was under the influence of alcohol when he sideswiped a Prescott Police vehicle on Thursday night.
Gary Edelbrock, 70, was reportedly driving south on Larry Caldwell Drive when he hit a police car that was parked on the side of the road with its emergency lights on.
Edelbrock continued driving, and turned onto the ramp to Highway 89A westbound. He was eventually stopped a short time later.
Edelbrock was taken to the Prescott Police Department where his blood alcohol content was reportedly found to be over the legal limit.
He was cited for DUI, endangerment, and criminal damage and subsequently released.
