Man dies following motorcycle accident

PHOENIX -- A 64-year-old man died early Saturday morning after crashing his motorcycle while driving in Phoenix.

Police said the man was riding a 2005 Thunder Custom motorcycle southbound on North Parkway when for unknown reasons the motorcycle went left of center and crashed into the median.

The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle. He was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

It is not yet known if the man was impaired at the time of the accident. Police are continuing to investigate.
