BANGOR, Maine -- The drummer for classic rocker Ted Nugent, who lives in Cave Creek, Ariz., was arrested Sunday in Maine for allegedly driving drunk in a golf cart he stole from a concert venue.
According to officers working the concert in Bangor, they were told 55-year-old Mick Brown had stolen a gold golf cart used by Waterfront Concerts. He was intoxicated, and driving it recklessly on a foot path.
Several people apparently tried to stop him, but he sped away.
Police said officers then tried to stop him, but Brown sped past them and shoved a security officer. Two security officers then removed Brown from the cart, and he was arrested.
Brown, of Cave Creek, Ariz., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving to endanger, theft and assault. He was released on $4,000 bail.
No one was hurt. No damage was reported other than two traffic cones, including one that was still stuck under the cart when Brown was arrested.
