MESA, Ariz. -- Mesa police have arrested a suspect in the death of a man who fell three stories off of a Mesa parking garage Sunday night.

The suspect is 20-year-old Roderick Deshan Wagoner.

Police on Tuesday identified the victim as Dustin Burton, 30, of Mesa.

It happened at the Pepper Street Garage near Center and Main streets.

Police said Burton had been involved in a fight with another man, believed to Wagoner. It's not clear what sparked that altercation or if the men knew each other prior to the incident.

Investigators have not said if Burton jumped or fell from the garage or if he might have been pushed or thrown over the edge. He fell about 30 feet to the ground.

Burton suffered serious injuries and was taken by ground ambulance to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn where he later died.

Early on Monday, police said they were searching for an African American male who has dreadlocks and a prosthetic arm. They located that man and questioned him about the incident. That man is Wagoner. Police said he had not admitted that he was involved in the crime.
