PHOENIX -- The excessive heat warnings have left the Valley just in time for the 4th of July holiday.
After several days of hot temperatures, things should be cooling down as the week progresses.
Monday we’re expecting a high of 107, but by Wednesday the temperature is expected to be in the 90s.
Rain could also be a part of our forecast over the next few days. There’s a chance for showers on Tuesday, and on Wednesday there will be a 40 percent chance for rain.
Things will warm up towards the end of next week with temperatures around 106.
