PHOENIX -- A Valley organization is helping to fulfill the dreams of terminally ill senior citizens.

Kimberly Iverson and Kevin Beck have founded the Bucketlist Foundation, which was inspired by Iverson’s career as a hospice nurse.

“Last October is when I started it. Just in working with senior citizens in general, in the community, and wanting to give more back to the community,” Iverson explained when asked why she wanted to start her foundation.

Many elderly Valley residents have had their final wishes come true thanks to the Bucketlist Foundation.

Iverson said that most of the people she helps aren’t looking to fulfill a grandiose dream, but just want someone to help them make their final days more enjoyable.

“My biggest thing is to engage our community in our efforts to raise awareness for our senior generation,” Iverson added.
