Alleged accomplice in PV murders changes plea

PHOENIX -- A woman charged in connection to the murders of a Paradise Valley couple and a Phoenix businessman changed her plea on Monday.

Brittany Beinhauer was in court and pleaded guilty to one count of theft of a credit card.

Sentecing is scheduled for July 31, at 9 a.m.

She is one of the five suspected accomplices of Michael Crane, who prosecutors say shot and killed Lawrence and Glenna Shapiro on Jan. 30, and set their house on fire. They were found bound and burned beyond recognition

Just days before, Crane allegedly murdered Bruce Gaudet and burned his home as well.

Kelly Steward, 29, Shawn Nicloy, 29, and Danielle Rossman, 26, face theft or trafficking in stolen property charges.
