PHOENIX -- The Valley’s chance for rain appears to have run dry.
Moisture was building Sunday in the southeast portion of the state, giving the Phoenix area its best chance for storms.
There will still be about a 20 percent chance for showers on Monday, but it’s unlikely that any storms reach the city.
As our chances for rain decrease, our temperatures will increase.
The high on Monday will be 105, but by Wednesday the temperature will be back around 110. The high for Friday is expected to reach 112, and temperatures will stay around 110 through next weekend.
