SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Police are investigating an injury collision involving a Scottsdale trolley Thursday morning.

Scottsdale police Officer David Pubins said a Honda Accord was westbound on Roosevelt Street near 77th Street when it crossed the center line, striking the front end of the eastbound trolley.

The trolley driver was not injured and no one else was onboard.

The female driver of the Honda and her adult male passenger were transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Pubins said they were not wearing their seat belts.

An approximately 1-year-old child, who was restrained in the back seat, was transported to Maricopa County Medical Center as a precaution.

The cause of the collision has not been determined.
