MESA, Ariz. -- Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man suspected of robbing a Chase Bank in Mesa last month.

On May 22, a white male believed to be in his 60s parked his mountain bike in front of the Subway by the Chase Bank at 1021 N. Ellsworth Road.

The suspect walked into the bank and approached a teller. He then displayed a small handgun and demanded money.

The man put the money in his pocket and then fled southbound on Ellsworth Road on his bike.

Police said the robbery was similar to a January 17 robbery that took place at 4343 E. Broadway Road.
