PHOENIX -- Valley law enforcement will get to continue playing Santa Claus this holiday season.

W. Steve Martin started the 9-1-1 Toy Drive 26 years ago as a way to provide gifts to children in need.

However, just a couple of weeks ago the non-profit organization was told they would no longer be able remain in their Chandler warehouse after it was sold.

The community stepped up after news of the warehouse spread, and worked to get the 9-1-1 Toy Drive a home.

Volunteers worked to resolve the situation, and eventually I-T-P Consulting donated a new space at an undisclosed location.

The new warehouse is at a more central location, and will make things easier this December when police officers and firefighters once again brighten the lives of Valley children.
