PHOENIX -- The high temperature in Phoenix was 107 degrees on Wednesday. Over the next few days, temperatures will moderate a bit, more like 100 to 103, and it will stay dry.
Early signs point to a possibility of record-breaking high temperatures next week across Arizona. By the middle of the week, desert highs may be running in the 110 to 115 degree range.
The monsoon is still nowhere to be seen and we need the rain badly. In Phoenix so far this year we've only had four days with measurable rain.
