Police seek 3 suspects in Walgreens robbery

PHOENIX -- A reward is being offered to help identify and locate two men and a woman involved in an armed robbery at a Walgreens pharmacy in Phoenix.

The three suspects entered the Walgreens near Tatum Boulevard and Greenway Road shortly after noon on May 17. Police said they selected various items and put them inside a hand basket held by one of the suspects. The other two suspects walked quickly out of the store.

The store manager observed the suspicious activity and went to stand by the exit. The suspect holding the basket reportedly threatened him with a knife and continued to run out of the store with the items.

The three suspects fled in a green four-door Pontiac car with faded paint on the roof and hood.

No one was injured during the incident.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 to 170 pounds, 31 to 39 years old, wearing a red button-up shirt and black jeans.

A second suspect is described as a Hispanic female, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 to 180 pounds, 28 to 32 years old, wearing a red top, blue jean shorts and sunglasses.

The suspect who was carrying the basket is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 175 to 185 pounds, 35 to 45 years old, with a shaved head and ponytail, wearing a red #11 Arizona Cardinals jersey with "Fitzgerald" on the back.

Police released surveillance video and photos of the suspects.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered.
