PHOENIX -- A ridge of high pressure centered to our south will bring a warming trend to start the new week.
Sunday we topped out near 102 degrees, and 103 degrees is average for this time of year.
We'll top out today near 104 degrees in the Valley, and closer to 106 through about Thursday with abundant sunshine.
Look for overnight lows in the upper 60s to upper 70s around town under clear skies.
A slight cooldown looks likely by the weekend.
The monsoon, our summer thunderstorm season, officially begins this Friday, June 15.
Still, no rain is in sight for at least the next seven to10 days.
