TEMPE, Ariz. -- Tempe Police have located the vehicle involved in a Memorial Day hit-and-run.

Authorities announced Sunday that they found the pickup that struck Jessica Durand, 25, while she was out riding her bike.

No arrests have been made, and police continue to investigate the case.

Durand was hit by the truck on the evening of May 28 near Rural Road and Broadway.

Durand suffered numerous injuries, including multiple fractures and broken teeth. She was also placed in a medically induced coma for several days following the accident.

Earlier this month, Durand told 3TV that the person responsible for her injuries needs to come forward and take responsibility.

“All you’re doing is teaching people that if you do something wrong it doesn’t matter. If you hurt somebody, you should admit to what’s wrong, offer to help and at least try and make something right,” she remarked.

Police have stated that they believe the driver of the truck may have been impaired. They’re asking anyone with any information about the case to call Tempe Police or Silent Witness at 480-Witness.
