PHOENIX -- Police are looking for two men involved in an attempted robbery in the parking lot of a Maryvale Walmart store last month.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 140 pounds with dark hair, wearing a gray T-shirt and khaki pants.

The other suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old with blond hair, wearing a black T-shirt and long blue shorts.

Police said the two men followed a 40-year-old woman back to her parked vehicle near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road at approximately 3:45 p.m. on May 5.

While the woman was unloading her groceries, the Hispanic suspect approached her and took her purse, according to police.

The victim and a witness chased the suspect and managed to get the purse back. The two suspects then casually walked away.

Police released surveillance video and pictures of the suspects on Thursday.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered.
