YUMA, Ariz. -- Twelve and a half pounds of methamphetamine was seized by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Yuma on Tuesday.
The agents were patrolling near Blythe, California when they noticed a driver in a black pickup acting suspicious. After pulling over that driver, who was carrying a passenger, agents discovered 11 containers similar to Tupperware filled with crystal meth.
The drugs, which had an estimated street value of $194,000, were confiscated. The driver and passenger were arrested and are in custody of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
