GILBERT, Ariz. -- Police in Gilbert are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Walgreens Store last week.

Authorities said a two-tone Lincoln Town Car pulled up to the Walgreens at 785 S. Cooper Rd on May 31. A black male got out of the passenger side and entered the store through the main entrance.

The suspect reportedly went to purchase a pack of gum, but began grabbing money when the cashier opened the register.

After grabbing an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect walked out of the building, got back into the passenger side of the car, and fled the scene.

No weapons were displayed or implied during the robbery, and no one was injured.

The suspect is said to be approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, stocky, and in his late 20s. He was wearing black and white knit shorts, a black t-shirt, a black baseball hat, and black tennis shoes.
