PHOENIX -- Afternoon temperatures are forecast to drop back a few degrees today, thanks to a strong storm system pushing by to our north.
While any rain and cloud cover with the storm will stay far to our north, the system will not only drop our temperatures, but drive some strong winds in the high country.
There is a Red Flag Warning for much of Northern Arizona today between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. for very dry and windy weather. While relative humidities are forecast to drop below 15 percent, strong southwesterly winds could gust up to 45 mph.
Breezy conditions are possible in the Valley, especially during the evening hours.
Look for a Valley high near 100 today under sunny skies.
Temperatures will warm up a couple of degrees by the weekend with more sunshine expected.
