PHOENIX -- After a scorching end to last week, the new week ahead looks fairly mild.

The average high for this time of year is about 101 degrees, and today the Valley will top out just above that near 102.

Nothing but sunshine is expected for the next seven days, but a system passing to our north will drive some strong winds tomorrow.  In the Valley, look for breezy conditions, but in the high country a Fire Weather Watch was issued for Tuesday for stronger southwesterly winds and very low relative humidities.

Temperatures are also forecast to be a bit lower Tuesday, with a Valley high of just 100 expected.

There is an Ozone Health Watch for the Valley today.

Carpool if you can and refuel after dark.  Those with a sensitive respiratory system should limit their time outdoors today.
