Wet 'n' Wild Jr. opens in Glendale

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Parents can now take their children to the all-new Wet 'n' Wild Jr. The water park was created for especially for kids and families. The new addition to the park features kid-friendly versions of some of the park's most popular attractions, water toys and spray zones.

Riders must be at least 36 inches (3 feet) tall for all slides.

Here's a list of the new rides.

Tiny Typhoon: Perfect for children, Tiny Typhoon will spin riders through a miniature funnel before dropping them into the calming waters below.

Screamin' Streamers: A fun and leisurely downhill river rafting ride for the entire family. Riders will experience small turns and slight drops before plunging into the water below.

Banzai Racers: Racing slides for the park's youngest visitors, Banzai Racers allow riders to compete side-by-side on a racing mat before splashing into the water below.

Wt 'n' Wild Jr. runs from the time the park opens until 8 p.m.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix is located in the Maricopa County's Adobe Dam Regional Park near the border of Phoenix and Glendale, just west Interstate-17 on Pinnacle Peak Road.

General admission is $36.99 (plus tax). Junior admission (those shorter than 42 inches) is $29.99 (plus tax). Season passes are available.
